Its now February 13th, - When will it be summer and sunny and warm ,its still cold and wetter than ever. I think twice about braving the weather and patio going down to the studio, Although I always get down there eventually. I made some lovely heart dishes with roses and don't faint 'NO BUTTERFLIES' on them. It was just too much with some on them Ill up load them when they are finished. I also finished some commissions of door plates. I must finish my dragon ,I started it months ago with every thing that has happened in the ARTBOXuk Gallery and workshop there just hasn't been the time. |

Hello everyone. The cold and wet has finally set in and its nice to hide away in the studio in the warm - especially when the kiln is on.I have had quite a busy time this month .I was successful in being chosen to exhibit in the Arcadia revisited exhibition @ Orleans Gallery at the end of October That was a lovely exhibition. But didn't get into the next one - 'still life' on now in the same place. Well Chin Up and soldier onwards -cannot win them all. I hope I will be excepted for the Spirit of womanhood in OXO Tower London - deadline is soon - Hum still working on the painting for that-but the ceramics are ready and waiting. |

Hello out there - well what have I been doing apart from applying for teaching posts. I have submitted work for 2 Exhibitions, and have been working in the studio on some new pieces using fabric . Some successes and humm! - some whoopsies -The fabric was too thin on some porcelain pieces and disintegrated during the firing. Those that have come out well, will - when they are glazed be lovely - providing they don't warp too much or collapse completely. I am still teaching my Art students' privately and giving help and advice as well as practical help in developing their skills in drawing ,painting and design. |
